We are two sisters from Aquidneck Island, Rhode Island

She Sells Co. was created in 2020. Our first creations were composed of beads from our mom’s old jewelry and shells we had collected over the years on Rhode Island beaches. We have always been fascinated by the ocean and it’s creations, and equally passionate about protecting it. As we began to fantasize building a brand around our experiments, it was important to us that protecting and honoring our oceans was always the heart of what we do. In doing so, all of our materials are natural elements we collect, deconstructed treasures we find in vintage stores, and from small business jewelry designers. Our packaging is also zero waste, composed of packaging we have received, newspaper, miscellaneous stationary, etc, making each package it’s own special snowflake.

She Sells has become like a third sister to us, and has given us the oportunity to participate in causes we care about, with a percentage of our proceeds being donated to a local Rhode Island non-profit organization, Save the Bay, as well as the global organization Earth Justice.

  • She Sells Co. started as a quarantine project in the spring of 2020. This project has blossomed into a brand that is now integral to our lives. We are so excited you’re here to learn about us!

REDUCE, REUSE, RESTYLE

Our mission is to produce affordable handmade jewelry using materials sourced from the seas and friendly to the seas.

Recycled Jewelry

We make a habit of repurposing beads, charms, shells, pearls, and other odds and ends from previously loved pieces. We take jewelry donations and will happily repurpose old pieces for you — all you have to do is ask!

Sustainable Materials

We have made a plastic-free pledge and strive to use only recyclable materials in our designs. We also repurpose packaging materials so that each order is individualized, hand-packaged, and stays true to our mission from our doorstep to yours.

Local Impact

We love to give back to our Rhode Island community by hosting beach clean-ups and donating a portion of our proceeds to environmental non-profits in the area. We are constantly expanding our network and love to hear from those looking to get involved!
